Tarrytown Train Station
D&D was asked to provide three new elevators for the new Tarrytown Train station project.
When completely renovating something as important as a “Train Station”, any contractor working for a large organization like the “MTA” (Metropolitan Transit Authority) knows how detailed and demanding this type of project can be.
D&D was asked to provide three new elevators for the new Tarrytown Train station project. Working with the Transit Authority supervisors and the General Contractor, they engineered and designed three new glass enclosed elevators. These elevators service each train platform from both the front and rear parking areas of the station. The elevators were manufactured using the most stringent material processing and design guidelines available. They were installed and tested by both the MTA and private 3rd party inspection agencies to ensure each elevator met all design and code requirements.
